| Horror 100 No. 96 Join Vietnam Veteran Jacob (Tim Robbins) is struggle against insanity in this surreal, disturbing effort from British director Adrian Lynne (‘Fatal Attraction’, ‘Lolita’). Jacob’s is haunted by his past, including the death of his son (Macauley Caulkin), which he believes he is responsible for. Jacob sees angels, demons and ghosts of the past has he delves deeper in madness, and the film reaches its shocking conclusion. The film dips into religion, the follies of war and the fear of death, sown into a dark tapestry of psychological torture. Elizabeth Pena (Batteries Not Included), Ving Rhames (‘Pulp Fiction’) and Danny Aiello (‘The Godfather: Part II’) round off a great cast, whose performances are helped immeasurably by work with Bruce Joel Rubin’s sharp script.
